Where can I buy a Garmont Men's Tower GTX Mountain Hiking.What was I thinking?By Philly_saxI am not a mountain climber, but I do like items which do well what they are designed to do. This was an impulse buy in response to ice storms. I have a driveway with a decent grade so when the rain suddenly freezes overnight, the driveway is nearly impossible to traverse to get the paper, or put out the trash. If you do get to the top, the worse is yet to come because the only way to control your descent is to fall on your butt. I put these babies on and walked up the driveway like I had ice climbing spikes on the bottom!The tread is awesome. The boot is stiff and I suspect by design. I salted my sidewalk and chopped up the ice and the boots were warm and not uncomfortable.
